General Size Specifications: The small size will come to you generally 1 to 2 inches; the medium generally 3 to 4 inches; the large generally 5 to 6 inches. Minimum Tank Size: The Harlequin Tusk Wrasse (Australia) prefers a tank of at least 60 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim. Diet: The Lienardella fasciata is a carnivore and likes to eat chopped meats, small invert (amphipods & foraminiferans), live feeder shrimp, worms. Level of Care: The Harlequin Tusk Wrasse (Australia) is a medium maintenance fish. Behavior: The Harlequin Tusk Wrasse (Australia) may act semi-aggressively toward other fish. Best kept in fish only systems with boisterous wrasses, surgeonfishes, large angelfishes, puffers and triggers. May need to feed live saltwater feeders until wrasse learns to eat frozen and prepared foods. Australian specimens tend to be more colorful and hardier (more blue coloration it noted).
