General Notes
: Pomacanthus (Euxiphipops) sexstriatus (Cuvier 1831), the Six-Striped/Banded Angelfish (3). One of the largest angelfishes.Full size angels should not be mixed with other full size angels, unless it is in a tank of at least 180 gallons. One of the largest of the full size Angels, the Six Bar Angel is a beautiful species, but is also very timid and shy. Because of this, the Six Bar Angel should be housed in a large fish only aquarium, with lots of hiding places offered. It is not recommended to house this Angel with any other full sized Angels, as other Angels may out compete the newly acquired specimen, and possibly stress the Six Bar to expiration.
Note:
Due to variations among each species, livestock may not look identical to the image provided. Expect diversity since each animal is unique in color, texture and shape.
