General notes: The Hydnophora is an SPS Coral that is often though of as an Acropora because of it`s branching appearance but are not really related. Often thought of as an aggressive coral, it will kill most corals it comes in close contact with it. This is a difficult coral to maintain but will do well in a reef setting providing pristine water quality is kept. The coral requires moderate water movement and very strong lighting.
Water parameters: Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).
