Minimum Tank Size: The 3-Stripe Damsel prefers a tank of at least 20 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim. Diet: The Dascyllus aruanus is a omnivore and likes to eat variety of foods (meats & veggies). Level of Care: The 3-Stripe Damsel is a low maintenance fish. Behavior: The 3-Stripe Damsel may act aggressively toward other fish. Hardiness: This is a hardy fish. Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). Range: Fiji. General Notes: Dascyllus aruanus (Linnaeus 1758), the Whitetail Dascyllus to science, more commonly called the Three-Striped Damsel to aquarists. These fish are aggressive and territorial and can harass fish many times it`s size. It is not suitable for a peaceful community tank.
