Clown Goby (Assorted) - Gobiodon speciesAlso known as: Clown, Black Maximum Size: the Gobiodon species grows up to 1.5 inches. General Size Specifications: These fish generally will come to you 1 - 2.5 inches. Minimum Tank Size: The Clown Goby (Assorted) prefers a tank of at least 20 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim. Diet: The Gobiodon species is a carnivore and likes to eat brine & mysid shrimp and other meaty treats. Level of Care: The Clown Goby (Assorted) is a low maintenance fish. Behavior: The Clown Goby (Assorted) may act peacefully toward other fish. Hardiness: This is a hardy fish. Breeding: Able to breed. Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). Range: Indo-Pacific. General Notes: The Yellow Clown Goby is a peaceful addition to any reef with caution. Normally found living among soft and hard coral colonies, they make their nests by tearing the covering off acropora colonies. Luckily they rarely cause much damage but if you only have one small acropora sp. you might want to rethink this fish. You can keep them in pairs or more but they do require a larger tank.
