Behavior: The Alcyonium species is generally peaceful toward other tankmates. Care: Many consider the Alcyonium species a low-maintenance specimen. Lighting: Has low lighting needs.Symbiotic algae zooxanthellae are hosted within this organism. Water flow: The Chili Sponge, Strawberry Coral, Encrusting Leather Coral requires intermediate water flow. General notes: The Chili Coral is nocturnal and will extend white polyps at night, so provide space. Place at the bottom of your tank on the sand.
