Our freshly imported premium Fiji live rock is absolutely the best Fiji rock available. This rock is fresh and will require additional curing in your tank or in a separate curing bin if your tank has already been cycled.
It is a very light weight rock from the Pacific. It’s popular for building reefs due to its light weight and high capacity for bacteria growth. It has very dark purples and some orange coralline algae growths. Each piece of live rock you receive is going to be about 3 to 11 inches. Live Rock provides the foundation of a reef aquarium with biological filtration, structure and beauty. This is a porous rock so we generally like to recommend 1 to 1.5 pounds per gallon. Your new Premium Fiji Rock will require a 2-3 week curing process and any addition to a fully cycled tank is not recommended until the curing process is complete.
Shipping Information:
All orders must be received by 10:00am PST to be shipped out the same day. Delivery days are Tuesday through Saturday with the options of UPS Second Day Air, UPS Overnight Delivery and UPS Saturday Delivery.
Live Rock/Sand Second Day Air delivery schedule:
- Shipped Monday - Delivered Wednesday
- Shipped Tuesday - Delivered Thursday
- Shipped Wednesday - Delivered Friday
Any orders for Live Rock/Sand that are placed on Thursday and Friday cannot be shipped via UPS Second Day Air and will have to be shipped via UPS Overnight or UPS Saturday Delivery if you would like it the same week. Overnight deliveries are available for all orders Monday through Thursday for an additional charge of $12.00. Saturday delivery is available as well for $36.00.
Under the following circumstances Marine Depot Live will not be held liable for damages: for any orders not received on the first delivery attempt or for orders that are not held for pick up at the UPS facility when temperatures are greater than 90 degrees or lower than 40 degrees. Please be sure to select the appropriate shipping date to fit your schedule as we cannot issue credits or refunds after an order as been sent for incorrect delivery dates selected by customers.
