General Notes
: Works well in schools, just as long there is only one male. An interesting Angel, the Watanabe Angel is a popular Angel with Aquarists due to its availability, and being a hardy species as well. Like all others in its Genus, the Watanabe Angel feeds on Zooplankton, not Sponges, Corals or any other sessile Invertebrate. This makes it an excellent candidate for a Reef type aquarium or a community aquarium with other Angels. Males and Females are easily distinguished from their markings, with Males having bold black and white horizontal stripes on its body. The Female is just blue with black edging on its caudal fins.
Note:
Due to variations among each species, livestock may not look identical to the image provided. Expect diversity since each animal is unique in color, texture and shape.
