The initial reason I purchased this was for cleaning of the substrate in my tank. He / She takes in tons of sand or coral substrate and cleans it as if it were new. If you like the look of your tank bottom the way you set it up and want it to look new all the time, this one is for you. They do move around a lot of the substrate, but well worth this small inconvenience. I have a small one in my 30 Gal. tank and he is continuously busy. He does tend to hide when you approach the tank, but as a worker fish, I would have no other. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
