Size: The Xmas Tree Worm Rock may grow to 1 inches. Diet: Planktivore. Feeding: It likes to eat Phytoplankton and Microplankton. Behavior: The Spirobranchus species is generally peaceful toward other tankmates. Care: Many consider the Spirobranchus species a low-maintenance specimen. Not venomous. Lighting: Has lighting needs. General notes: Worm body is embedded under porites that is encrusting a rock. Opens its fan to capture floating food. Be careful with copper-based medication and extreme nitrate levels. Serpulidae with calcareous tubes. Porites coral needs a lot of light and good flow. Once Porites dies, worms usually die afterward.
