Our Un-Cured Premium Live Rock Rubble is excellent for attaching coral frags to for propagation or for adding to your sump or refugium. It’s popular due to its light weight and high capacity for bacteria growth. The pieces of live rock rubble you receive are going to vary in size from 1 inch to 6 inches, but are generally about 1 to 3 inches. It also contains 30-50% sand and mud. Live Rock rubble provides the spaces, holes and crevices for ampapods and copepods to flourish as well as providing natural biological filtration. This is a porous rock we generally like to recommend .1 to .25 pounds per gallon be added to your sump or refugium. Your new Premium Rock Rubble will require a 2-3 week curing process and any addition to a fully cycled tank is not recommended until the curing process is complete.

Note: Due to variations among each rock, liverock will not look identical to the image provided. Expect diversity since each rock is unique in color, texture and shape. The live rock may or may not have coraline algae, corals, algae and sponges growing on it.
