Range: Caribbean, North Carolina, Southern Florida, to Western Gulf of Mexico, south to the Yucatan Peninsula. General Notes: Another strikingly colored Angel, the Majestic Angel is a relatively shy and timid fish that needs a lot of various hiding places. Due to the needs of this Angel, it is far better to get either a Juvenile or a small specimen, and keep them in a tank full of Live rock or in a larger Reef type tank. A popular species with Aquarist, the Blue Angel is also one of the hardier species of full sized Angels. Being highly territorial, it is not a good candidate to mix this Angel with other Angels, except in very large Aquaria. The Blue Angel sometimes will hybridize with its close cousin the Queen Angel, which is also found in the Blue Angels range, but is also found further south to Brazil, and the Caribbean.
Note: Due to variations among each species, livestock may not look identical to the image provided. Expect diversity since each animal is unique in color, texture and shape.
