Behavior: The Gorgonia species is generally semi-aggressive toward other tankmates.
Care: Many consider the Gorgonia species a medium-maintenance specimen.
Lighting: Has intermediate lighting needs.Symbiotic algae zooxanthellae are hosted within this organism.
Water flow: The Gorgonia, Sea Rod, Sea Whip, Sea Blade requires intermediate water flow.
General notes: Branching coral. Allow adequate space, as this polyp will grow rapidly. Do not expose to open air.
Water parameters: Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).
Origin: The Purple Brush Gorgonia is commonly collected from the Florida Keys.

Specifications: Gorgonians size varies depending on fullness, growth, and width. Sizes may vary slightly. SMALL is usually 1-2 stalks about 4 inches tall, MEDIUM is usually 3-4 stalks about 4 inches tall and LARGE is about 4-5 stalks 6 inches tall.

Comments: when i unpacked my new gorgonia i was amazed at the condition the coral was in. not only was it bigger than i expected it's overall apearence was amazing.after it was acclimated and placed in the tank within 15 minutes it had opened.this says alot for the packaging and delivery from marine depot.thankyou for the great service i will be placing more orders soon.
