General Notes
: Thalassoma hardwicke or the Six-Barred Wrasse is harmless to corals but will pick at ornamental crustaceans, snails, serpent stars, bristleworms, mantis shrimps and very small fish. Very flashy coloration of black tiger looking stripes on a metallic green to pearl background makes this fish an unusual addition to a fish only system. Needs planty of swimming room and will harass new fish introduced to the tank if they are smaller or close in shape. Best added as one of the last fish. Keep with larger and belligerent fishes. Offer live rock with many places for them to hide in at night or when frightened as they do not bury in the sand.
Note:
Due to variations among each species, livestock may not look identical to the image provided. Expect diversity since each animal is unique in color, texture and shape.
