Minimum Tank Size
: The Cortez Angel prefers a tank of at least 100 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.
Diet
: The Pomacanthus zonipectus is a omnivore and likes to eat Omnivore, picking at sessile Invertebrates, and various Micro Algae.
Level of Care
: The Cortez Angel is a medium maintenance fish.
Behavior
: The Cortez Angel may act semi-aggressively toward other fish.
Hardiness
: This is a fairly hardy fish.
Water Conditions
: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).
Range
: Central America.
General Notes
: Likes to eat sponges. Needs places to hide. Doesn`t get along with other conspecifics.Full size angels should not be mixed with other full size angels, unless it is in a tank of at least 180 gallons.
