Maximum Size
: the Paraglyphidodon melas grows up to 4 inches.
General Size Specifications
: The small size will come to you generally 1 to 3 inches; the medium generally 1 to 3 inches; the large generally 1 to 3 inches.
Minimum Tank Size
: The Bluefin Damsel prefers a tank of at least 30 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.
Diet
: The Paraglyphidodon melas is a omnivore and likes to eat variety of foods (meats & veggies).
Level of Care
: The Bluefin Damsel is a low maintenance fish.
Behavior
: The Bluefin Damsel may act aggressively toward other fish.
Hardiness
: This is a hardy fish.
Water Conditions
: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).
General Notes
: Very hardy fish with a great personality. Best kept with other damsels or by itself. These fish are aggressive and territorial and can harass fish many times it`s size. It is not suitable for a peaceful community tank.
