Maximum Size
: the Bothus lunatus grows up to 14 inches.
General Size Specifications
: The small size will come to you generally 2 to 3 inches; the medium generally 4 to 5 inches; the large generally 6 to 7 inches.
Minimum Tank Size
: The Assorted Flounder prefers a tank of at least 130 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.
Diet
: The Bothus lunatus is a carnivore and likes to eat variety of chopped meats.
Level of Care
: The Assorted Flounder is a low maintenance fish.
Behavior
: The Assorted Flounder may act semi-aggressively toward other fish.
Hardiness
: This is a hardy fish.
Water Conditions
: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).

General Notes
: Bothus lunatus, aka the Peacock Flounder, a species that shows up from time to time out of the Tropical West Atlantic. This fish eats most creatures in sandbeds. Keeping in a reef is not a good idea if you have a sandbed and want to keep the worms and other creatures that clean your sand. Will not eat detritus. Interesting addition to a fish only system.
