: The small size will come to you generally 1 to 2 inches; the medium generally 3 to 4 inches; the large generally 5 to 6 inches.
Minimum Tank Size
: The Orange Shoulder Tang prefers a tank of at least 150 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.
Diet
: The Acanthurus olivaceus is a herbivore and likes to eat Dried Seaweed (best), marine algae, mysid shrimp, Spirulina, Romaine Lettuce (blanched) , fresh seaweed, and other meaty treats.
Level of Care
: The Orange Shoulder Tang is a medium maintenance fish.
Behavior
: The Orange Shoulder Tang may act peacefully toward other fish.

General Notes
: The Acanthurus olivaceus is a beautiful addition to any aquarium as an adult or juvenile. Smalls and some mediums are a bright attractive yellow and will morph into the normal adult coloration of gray on two halfs of it`s body with a large orange bar at the shoulder above the pectoral fin. As most tangs, should be housed in a large tank as this fish can reach 14 inches very quickly.
