General Notes
: Easily recognized as an adult with the horn protruding from it`s head, the Naso unicornis, or Unicorn Tang is a popular addition to larger tanks. This fish can reach up to 24 inches but even longer if you include the forehead spike that gets longer as the fish ages. Likes to school with other Unicorn Tangs as juveniles, this species prefers to be alone as an adult and will likely fight with other Unicorn Tangs and possibly Vlamingii Tangs. Needs plenty of unobstructed swimming space even as small juveniles. May jump out of the tank.
Note:
Due to variations among each species, livestock may not look identical to the image provided. Expect diversity since each animal is unique in color, texture and shape.
