Feeding: It likes to eat Herbivore, eats mainly film algae such as diatoms and cyanobacteria. May pick at hair algae. Behavior: The Cypraea tigris is generally semi-aggressive toward other tankmates. Care: Many consider the Cypraea tigris a low-maintenance specimen. Not venomous. Lighting: Has lighting needs. General notes: The Tiger Cowie is an attractive choice but best kept in fish only tanks or systems without polyp types of coral or slow moving invertebrates. Will eat some hair algae but prefers fish, mussel and any animal based flesh. Calcium levels will need to be maintained between 350 - 450 to assist
