Lineatus Fairy Wrasse - Cirrhilabrus lineatus Also known as: Lined Fairy Wrasse
Maximum Size: the Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura grows up to 6 inches.
General Size Specifications: This fish will come to you generally around 2 to 3 inches.
Minimum Tank Size: The Lineatus Fairy Wrasse prefers a tank of at least 50 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.
Diet: The Cirrhilabrus lineatus is a carnivore and likes to eat variety of meats (fish, scallop, shrimp, squid, clam).
Level of Care: The Lineatus Fairy Wrasse is a medium maintenance fish.
Behavior: The Lineatus Fairy Wrasse may act peacefully toward other fish.
Hardiness: This is a hardy fish.
Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).
Range: Australia.
General Notes: The Lineatus Fairy Wrasse needs lots of rockwork as this is where it hides when frightened and at night finds a safe crevis to rest. An excellent substitute for harder to keep Anthias, Lineatus Fairy Wrasses are happiest in schools and are a bright addition to any peaceful system, but can only be kept as a single male with a few females. Will school with chromis and other schooling fish.
