Minimum Tank Size: The Blue & Gold Damsel prefers a tank of at least 30 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim. Diet: The Pomacentrus coelestis is a omnivore and likes to eat variety of foods (meats & veggies). Level of Care: The Blue & Gold Damsel is a low maintenance fish. Behavior: The Blue & Gold Damsel may act aggressively toward other fish. Hardiness: This is a hardy fish. Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). General Notes: Pomacentrus coelestis, Jordan & Starks 1901, one of the Neon Damsels. This is a feisty damselfish species, best kept as the only Damsel type in a tank, and allowing a good fifteen gallons plus per specimen.
