Main Features Sexy Shrimp - Also known as: Sexy Anemone Shrimp Color: The Sexy Shrimp has a rust with white spots color. Size: The Sexy Shrimp may grow to 1/4" - 3/4" inches. Diet: Carnivore. Feeding: It likes to eat eats meaty bits of seafood, and detritus. Behavior: The is generally peaceful toward other tankmates. Care: Many consider the a medium-maintenance specimen. Not venomous. General notes: The sexy shrimp is a small and attractive addition to almost any reef aquarium. Their small size and super bright colors make them excellent nano-reef aquarium inhabitants. They like to hide in anemones, and large polyp stony corals, but will often find a cliff or overhang to accommodate them if no coral is available. These small shrimp rhythmically beat their abdomens up and down as they sway among their host coral’s tentacles. Sexy shrimp can often live in pairs or small groups, though will do fine on their own. A group of three or more is quite attractive. Keep them in a reef tank with plenty of liverock and hiding places, and away from any fish that may eat them. Like most invertebrates, acclimate slowly using a drip acclimation technique. Water parameters: Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).
