General Size Specifications: These fish generally will come to you between 2½ to 4½ inches; Minimum Tank Size: The Yellowhead Caribbean Jawfish / Goby prefers a tank of at least 20 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim. Diet: The Opistognathus aurifons is a carnivore and likes to eat small amounts of brine & mysis shrimp and other meaty treats a few times a day. Level of Care: The Yellowhead Caribbean Jawfish / Goby is a low maintenance fish. Behavior: The Yellowhead Caribbean Jawfish / Goby may act semi-aggressively toward other fish. Breeding: Able to breed. Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). Range: the Caribbean. General Notes: Gobies may sometimes attempt jump out. Needs places to burrow. Prefer presence of substrate. Tends to be somewhat aggressive.
