General notes
: The peppermint shrimp is among the most popular reef safe shrimp in the industry. These shy and sociable shrimp bring color and personality to the reef tank. They are peaceful with other shrimp, and will often group together in dark caves and overhangs. They have been known to eat the pesky aiptasia anemone with reasonable success. Keep them in a reef tank with plenty of liverock and hiding places, and away from any fish that may eat them. Like most invertebrates, acclimate slowly using a drip acclimation technique.
