Color
: The Green Bubble Coral is a muted green. It is fluorescent green under 20K and/or actinic lighting.
Type of hard coral
: Large polyp stony coral (LPS).
Diet
: Carnivore, but can attain most nutritional requirements from photosynthesis.
Feeding
: It likes to eat Mysis Shrimp, or micro-plankton a few times per week, when open. Likes to have very small bits of raw shrimp or silversides.
Behavior
: This coral is generally aggressive toward other tankmates/corals.
Lighting
: Has intermediate lighting needs. Symbiotic algae, zooxanthellae, are hosted within this organism.
Water flow
: The Grape Bubble Coral, Grape Coral, Octobubble Coral requires low to medium water flow.
General notes
: Will sting other organisms near it, so give it space. Known to spawn in captivity.
Water parameters
: Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).
Origin
: The Bubble Coral is commonly collected from Indo-Pacific.
