Main Features Bicolor Angel - Centropyge bicolorAlso known as: Blue-and-Gold, Pacific Rock Beauty, Bicolor, Oriole Dwarf Angel Maximum Size: The Centropyge bicolor grows up to 6 inches. General Size Specifications: The dwarf angels will come to you generally 1 to 3 inches Minimum Tank Size: The Bicolor Angel prefers a tank of at least 40 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim. Diet: The Centropyge bicolor is an omnivore and likes to eat vegetable matter, picks at sessile invertebrates, clams, corals, and various Micro Algae. Level of Care: The Bicolor Angel is a medium maintenance fish. Behavior: The Bicolor Angel may act semi-aggressively toward other fish as well as some LPS/SPS Corals. Hardiness: This is a fairly hardy fish. Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). Range: Fiji. General Notes: Can get along with other Pygmy Angels providing they share a tank of at least 75 Gallons or more, due to territorial nature. A beautiful, peaceful angel, the Bicolor Angel adapts well to captivity and can be kept in either a community tank or in a Reef tank so long as caution is noted with Tridacnid species of Clams, and possibly Scallops. Might possibly nip at LPS/SPS Coral Polyps as well. Note: Due to variations among each species, livestock may not look identical to the image provided.
